Western Climate Initiative, Inc.
WCI, Inc. Activities:
- Develop a compliance tracking system that tracks both allowances and offsets certificates;
- Administer allowance auctions; and
- Conduct market monitoring of allowance auctions and allowance and offset certificate trading.
Western Climate Initiative, Inc. (WCI, Inc.) is a non-profit corporation formed to provide administrative and technical services to support the implementation of state and provincial greenhouse gas emissions trading programs.
The Board of Directors for WCI, Inc. includes officials from the provinces of Quebec, British Columbia, Ontario, and the State of California. The services provided by WCI, Inc. can be expanded to support jurisdictions that join in the future.

The purpose of the Offerors’ Conference is to familiarize Offerors' with the Auction and Reserve Sale Financial Services Request for Expression of Interest (REI). All questions regarding the REI must be submitted in writing by March 1, 2016. All questions will be answered in writing and posted on the WCI, Inc. website by March 11, 2016.
